I was just at Trader Joe's picking up an early lunch, and the following conversation took place betweent the cashier and me:
Cashier scanning items...
Ryan: How are you?
Cashier looks up, startled from his daze.
Cashier: Good!
Ryan: Thank you!
Thank you?
Ryan: I mean.. good!
